Historic Radio Theater

2013 - 2018

Partnering with WRHC radio, Harbor Arts celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Radio Broadcast of Orson Welles War of the Worlds.  A staged reading of the radio play was performed at the Acorn Theater and broadcast on WRHC the following evening.

 In 2014 and 2015, Harbor Arts partnered with the Acorn Center for the Performing Arts over the holiday season and presented radio plays, It’s a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. Intermissions featured live commercials for local businesses. 

In 2018, our final radio play, Pinocchio, was presented at the New Buffalo High School Auditorium and featured student performers from New Buffalo and Three Oaks.
